Successful organizations produce successful leaders. It is well known what it takes to manage for results: Identifying business opportunities, making demands, releasing organizational energy, delegating and nurturing, evaluating success.
Management competencies grow through practice and experience, through observation of success and reflection of own behaviour – but not in classroom trainings or rolled out programs. Management should be developed by learning though achieving planned results
We establish a management process.
We introduce a learning process of self qualification for groups of senior managers. In this process each participant takes on a cross functional task to move a business forward, like a sales objective, cost reduction or process improvement. To identify the goal is to make the first step of the exercise. We help to make this happen.
In a next step the senior managers assign teams to accomplish specific goals. We support the senior managers to assign task forces and breakthrough projects and lead them to success.
Participants form a peer group for mutual learning and support. This management learning group keeps track of results, and reflects on how the whole organization deals with the challenge. And by observing themselves creating success, the managers involved learn from each other and shape their style in being effective.
